You will perform routine maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles, including oil changes, fluid checks and fills, tire rotations, light bulb replacements, and inspections. This position requires some knowledge of the mechanical workings of different types of automobiles. Previous experience as a lube technician or automotive technician is desired. Compensation:

18 - 22 hourly

Responsibilities:

Clean the shop floor and all work areas, and ensure all safety regulations are followed Lubricate chassis components and check tire pressure and tread depth Provide suggestions for additional maintenance depending on the vehicle's age, mileage, and other factors Oversee shop inventories by tracking the use of oil and parts and placing new orders for supplies as necessary Perform oil changes and fluid checks on customer vehicles, including draining and replacing engine oil, checking and filling transmission, brake, power steering, and coolant fluids

Qualifications:

Lube technician experience of one or more years or related automotive experience is preferred Must be capable of safely using tools, car lifts, and other garage equipment High school diploma or equivalent Able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds Strong customer service skills About Company At South Bay Mazda, we believe in delivering a better car-buying experience built on trust, transparency, and exceptional service.
