Lumber Yard Associate

Lumber Yard Associates are to sort and rack lumber according to its grade markings and size. Employees will manage stock, freight, and other materials. The following tasks are some of the duties they may or may not be required. Read special orders from Co-workers. Read instructions from supervisors in handling customer requests and safety procedures in the workplace. Read and understand the SOP(standard operating procedures) in the company. Refer to manuals on proper storage and handling of delicate goods and materials. Carefully read the product labels, warnings, and directions posted on the products and warehouse. Fill up the inventory sheets as required. Read bills, purchase order forms, and invoices if you do not understand them ask questions. Must be able to drive a forklift. Look in the charts for the weights of forklifts that can carry and lift. Must be able to list at least 80 lbs. Customer Friendly. Team Player.
