You will be responsible for loading and unloading lumber, managing freight, and safely delivering products to various locations. Duties Load and unload lumber and building materials using forklifts, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, or other equipment Safely operate a variety of trucks including flatbed, pick up trucks Drive route deliveries to customers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of freight while adhering to all safety regulations Inspect trucks before and after trips to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance Assist in yard organization by stacking materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, and keeping the yard clean and safe Load and secure freight onto trucks using appropriate methods for different types of cargo Maintain detailed logs of deliveries, routes, vehicle inspections, and freight handling activities Qualifications Valid driver's license Experience with forklift operation for loading/unloading materials is preferred Knowledge of safety procedures related to freight handling and truck operation Ability to load & unload freight efficiently while maintaining safety standards Strong communication skills for coordinating deliveries and yard activities Physical ability to lift heavy materials regularly and work outdoors in various weather conditions Join us to be part of a dedicated team that values safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
