Overview We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for our day shift to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care, possess strong clinical skills, and demonstrate a commitment to enhancing the well-being of our residents. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and routine assessments. Assist with care planning and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure personalized resident care. Administer treatments such as IV infusions, catheterizations, and wound care following established protocols. Document patient information accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Monitor residents for signs of acute pain or changes in condition, escalating concerns promptly. Support residents with activities of daily living and promote independence in a safe environment. Educate residents and their families about health conditions, medications, and care procedures to ensure understanding and compliance. Skills Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as PCC for accurate documentation. Critical care experience including ICU or hospital medicine settings is highly desirable. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques. Skilled in patient assessment, vital signs measurement, and basic life support (BLS). Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or memory care needs. Familiarity with infection control practices and aseptic techniques essential for safe patient care. Ability to perform venipuncture, injections, catheter care, and specimen collection accurately.
