The LVN provides direct patient care and supports dialysis treatments under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Physician (MD). Candidates must hold a Hemodialysis Technician License and be committed to delivering high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities Provide patient care as assigned by the Charge Nurse or Head Nurse Initiate, monitor, and terminate dialysis treatments as prescribed Prepare and maintain dialysis equipment; ensure proper functioning and cleaning after each use Assess patients before, during, and after treatment; report changes in condition to RN Administer prescribed medications and treatments safely Assist in developing and implementing patient care plans Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation, including monthly progress notes Review and reconcile patients' home medications monthly Supervise and delegate tasks to staff within their scope of practice Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and orientation Participate in staff training and orientation Respond effectively to emergency situations Ensure compliance with all facility policies and procedures Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing Current California LVN license (IV Certified required) Hemodialysis Technician License required Completion of an approved dialysis training program Current CPR certification Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work under the supervision of an RN or MD Satisfactory professional references Work Environment Dialysis clinic setting Fast-paced, patient-focused environment Requires attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols How to Apply Submit your resume through Indeed.
