LVN Field Nurse

Amarillo's largest and top-rated home health agency is looking for an exceptional field nurse to meet our growing patient census. Experience in Home Health, Hospice, IV Therapy or wound care is preferred but not required. On-the-job training is available for nurses who have not worked in home health care. As a LVN/LPN, you will: Work one-on-one with patients in a home environment Computerized documentation Exercise strong decision making and judgment skills LVN's work with an interdisciplinary team in weekly case conferences Set your own schedule, providing you flexibility throughout the day Receive health, dental, vision, and short-term disability insurance Receive 3+ weeks of paid time off every year Reimbursed for mileage at maximum IRS rate + compensated for drive time Eligible for sign on bonus Bonus pay for seeing COVID patients

Qualifications:

Licensed Vocational Nurse in the State of Texas. Minimum of one year Home Healthcare experience preferred (but not required). Must work well independently, enjoy problem solving and understand the importance of accurate documentation. Thrives in situations requiring critical thinking. Valid Driver's license and proof of automobile insurance. As a nurse at BSA Compassion Home Care, typical hours are Monday-Friday 8 AM to 5 PM with opportunities for occasional on-call and/or weekend duties. All of our field staff receives tablets for in-home visits, so you must be computer proficient to excel in this opportunity.
