LVN Field Nurse

Looking for LVN's for all over Houston area

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in various settings, including homes, schools, and community centers
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
• Perform phlebotomy and collect laboratory specimens for testing
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
• Assist with tube feeding and other specialized procedures as needed
• Educate patients and their families on proper care techniques and disease management
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients

Skills:

• Strong knowledge and experience in pediatrics and acute care settings
• Proficient in triage and assessment of patients' conditions
• Familiarity with Athenahealth or similar electronic medical record systems
• Ability to administer medications accurately and safely
• Skilled in phlebotomy techniques for blood collection
• Knowledge of tube feeding procedures and alimentation techniques
