LVN or LPN staff nurse

A well-established dual diagnosis mental health/chemical dependency treatment program is seeking a certified LPN or RN for our new Moss Point MS location. We are looking for an organized energetic individual with a passion for advocating clients in their recovery, but also equipped to handle escalated situations as they arise. Must be an available all shift and for some weekends. Familiarity with computerized charting/client records in Lightening Step is a plus. Experience with licensing/accredidation and supervisory experience strongly preferred. Reference checks and a background check required. Please forward questions/concerns. Requirements to include:

Emphasis on communication skills, motivational interventions, and critical thinking. The goal is promoting positive behavior change as clients are assisted in the self-management of their fluctuating chronic disease states including PTSD, Depression, Anxiety and Suicidal ideation. Must demonstrate strong leadership skills, clinical competency, effective organizational skills, independent thinking, and a strong attention to detail.
