Machine Operator Putman,CT Are you ready to take on a dynamic role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? Our client is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to join their team and ensure the production of high-quality packaging products. If you have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety, this opportunity is for you! Responsibilities of the Machine Operator Communicate effectively with forklift operators to ensure the correct stock is brought to the machine. Verify stock for size, scoring, and grade before machine setup. Set up print, one or two colors, as specified by work orders. Use special test equipment to check for correct PH and color. Ensure accurate placement of print, scores, and slotting blades. Conduct periodic sample checks during production to meet specifications. Stack products on carts for easy mobility and label each cart with part numbers and job centers. Document production processes by completing work orders and maintaining quality standards. Demonstrate operational procedures to prepare others for production responsibilities. Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to procedures, rules, and regulations. Ensure cleanliness of manufacturing and storage areas using 5S standards. Requirements of the Machine Operator Proven experience in manufacturing or a similar environment. Strong safety management and documentation skills. Familiarity with manufacturing quality and specialty tooling. Ability to lift raw or finished materials weighing 50-75 pounds. Proficiency in using power tools and control engineering gauges. Excellent attention to detail and reporting skills. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform other duties as required.
