Job Description
Machine Operator Alliance Printing - Dalton, GA Monday-Thursday 3:30pm- 2:00am Alliance Printing is seeking a skilled and dependable Machine Operator to join our team in Dalton, GA. This role is ideal for someone with mechanical aptitude and a strong work ethic, looking to contribute to a high-quality manufacturing operation. You'll be responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting the Emmeci machine used in the production of turned-edge binders and boards. Attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate the Emmeci machine to produce turned-edge binders and boards.
- Select and install the proper tools and fixtures for each production run.
- Align and secure workpieces and feeding devices for accurate and efficient production.
- Monitor machine performance and make real-time adjustments to maintain product quality.
- Use measuring instruments such as gauges and calipers to ensure specifications are met.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical or operational issues to minimize downtime.
- Perform regular calibration and machine control adjustments (speed, temperature, pressure).
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Solid understanding of mechanical systems and machine operations.
- Experience using precision measuring tools.
- Ability to interpret and meet production specifications and quality standards.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
