Machine Operator Location:
Farmington, NY Summary:
We are seeking a Machine Operator (Lv. 1) to join our manufacturing team. In this position, you will operate production machinery used in the creation of high-quality weather stripping and specialty products. This is a hands-on role ideal for individuals who take pride in accuracy, safety, and maintaining consistent production flow. Multiple shifts are available with competitive hourly pay and shift differentials.

AM Pay:
$18.00•$21.00 an Hour ( with an additional 7.5% shift differential applied after conversion)
Core Duties & Responsibilities:
Safety:
Follow all safety procedures as outlined in standard work practices. Support and participate in departmental and plant safety initiatives.
Quality Control:
Perform inspections in accordance with standard operating instructions. Ensure product is within specified tolerances and complete required documentation. Notify technician of any quality concerns or nonconformities.
Machine Operation:
Keep machines running accurately and efficiently post-training. Make minor adjustments or minor repairs to machinery. Replenish raw material supplies and remove finished products. Assist with changeovers, troubleshooting, and repairs as needed.
Documentation & Reporting:
Record machine downtime and the reasons for interruptions. Track repairs and log scrap quantities and causes.
Additional Responsibilities:
Maintain clean and organized work areas. Support continuous improvement and production goals. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School diploma, GED, or TASC preferred. Basic reading, writing, and math skills required. One year of prior manufacturing experience preferred.

Housekeeping and cleanliness of work area Product quality and inspection accuracy Accurate documentation of production and downtime Organizational skills and task preparedness Ability to run up to 3 machines, including changeovers
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
Frequent standing, walking, stooping, squatting, stair climbing, and reaching. Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly. Loud production environment with industrial equipment in operation. Key Attributes for
