Assignment-based travel positionDesired Qualifications:
A.A.S. degree in Radiologic Technology (minimum requirement) NYS License/certification as a radiologic, nuclear medicine, or ultrasound technologist; formal MRI-specific training strongly preferred Completion of an AMA-approved 2-year Radiology Technology program Previous diagnostic radiology experience required; 1-2 years' experience in MRI strongly preferred Maintains ongoing education requirements (12 CEC per year in Radiologic Technology)Key Responsibilities:
Perform technical MRI procedures, exercising advanced skill and judgment Demonstrate deep working knowledge of Magnetic Resonance Imaging principles Evaluate and ensure accuracy of imaging, positioning, and hardware selection Demonstrate fluency in RIS and PACS for data entry, charge capture, protocol selection, and troubleshooting Rigorously observe magnet safety and employ proper screening for all personnel Administer MRI protocols, including contrast media, and respond appropriately to any emergencies arising from contrast reactions Deliver care to patients across age groups, from infants to geriatrics Maintain infection control and adhere toUniversal Precautions Benefits & Perks:
