uxbridge, massachusetts Posted 2 days ago Closes 8/31/2026 Job details Summary Spherion $18.00 - $21.00 per hour Temp to Perm 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM Industry manufacturing & production (Production Occupations) Reference number S_175889 Spherion MA are seeking a dependable Manufacturing Machine Operator to support production operations in a fast-paced industrial environment. This role is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining production equipment to ensure parts and materials are produced safely, efficiently, and according to quality standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and able to work effectively in a team-based manufacturing setting.
Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery according to work instructions and standard operating procedures Load raw materials and remove finished or semi-finished products from machines Observe machine operations to ensure proper function and identify any malfunctions or defects Perform basic adjustments to maintain production flow and product quality Conduct visual and basic measurement inspections to ensure parts meet specifications Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout rules, and workplace safety standards Maintain clean and organized workstations and equipment areas Complete production logs, quality checks, and required documentation accurately ... Communicate equipment issues, quality concerns, or downtime to supervisors or maintenance staff Support line efficiency by working cooperatively with team members and meeting daily production goals Perform basic preventative maintenance tasks such as cleaning, clearing jams, and routine checks Working hours: 6:00 AM - 4:30
PM Skills:
Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with machinery Experience in machine operation, assembly, or production line work Familiarity with safety procedures in industrial environments Ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues Team-oriented mindset and good communication skills
Education:
High School Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
