Job Description:

Under close supervision, sets up, adjusts, and operates a variety of machine tools including CNC/NC lathes, mills, drills, and manual machines. Performs machining operations by following blueprints, work instructions, and safety procedures. Inspects finished parts using gauges and measuring tools to ensure quality and tolerance requirements are met.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC/manual machining equipment. Read and interpret blueprints and machining specifications. Perform basic shop math and measurements. Use gauges and precision measuring instruments for inspections. Identify tools and machine components as required. Operate multiple machining controls and equipment. Maintain clean and safe work areas. Support production demands and overtime requirements when needed.

Requirements:

1-2 years of machining or machine operator experience. Experience with lathes and/or mills. Ability to read blueprints and tolerances. Knowledge of tool identification and machine setup. Experience with Mazak, Niigata, G&L, Moris, or Trevisans preferred. Hoist certification preferred. Ability to work in a heavy industrial environment with noise exposure and extended standing. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

$21.00 - $25.00 per hour
