Machine Shop Assistant

Shop Assistant $2,000 HIRING BONUS Job Responsibilities Drives a motor vehicle (automobile, utility van, pickup, light truck, etc.) up to 26,000 pounds gross vehicle weight (GVW) on the public highways to transport non-hazardous materials or equipment. Loads and unloads vehicles Performs a variety of production duties, such as tending machines, handling product, visual sorting or inspection, packing, or performing other operations. Assist large machine operators with setups, adjustments and operations, assist with assembly and erection operations, etc. involving the handling of heavy weight materials, tools and equipment. Other duties as assigned.

Work Environment:

Well-lit, clean and air conditioned machine shop with moderate noise. Staff members will need to be able to work while standing, sitting, bending, and climbing. Staff members will do frequent lifting.
