Join our precision-focused manufacturing team as a Machine Operator/ Grinder Operator , where you'll set up, operate, and maintain grinding machines and related equipment to produce high-quality metal components. This hands-on, temp-to-perm position is ideal for individuals with mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a strong focus on safety and quality. You'll play a key role in ensuring smooth production flow, maintaining tight tolerances, and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork. Shift(s): A Shift; 6:00 AM

00/hour (Based On Experience; Additional $1.00 Shift Differential For B Shift)

Key Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and monitor grinding machines and other precision equipment. Inspect, measure, and verify parts using gauges, micrometers, and calipers to maintain exact tolerances. Follow standard work procedures and ensure all safety protocols are met. Load and unload materials; maintain material flow throughout the grinding process. Perform routine maintenance, adjustments, and minor repairs on grinding machinery. Record production data and maintain accurate quality documentation. Keep work area organized, clean, and compliant with safety standards. Support continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate with team members to meet production goals.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in a manufacturing or grinding/machining environment preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with precision measuring tools. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions. Basic math and problem-solving skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods. Reliable, safety-minded, and able to work well both independently and in a team environment.
