Job Description

Machinist - 3rd Shift (Medical Devices) Own the Night. Shape Lives. Tired of noisy days and crowded floors? On 3rd shift, you get quieter hours, a tighter crew, and the satisfaction of knowing parts you make overnight will be saving and improving lives tomorrow—plus a 6% shift premium on top. This is a full-time, on-site Machinist role on 11:00 pm-7:30 am, Sunday night-Friday morning, manufacturing precision medical devices in a clean, quality-driven environment. What You'll Do Run and (at higher levels) set up CNC and manual mills, lathes, and multi-axis machines to produce medical devices from metals and plastics. Use precision measurement tools—calipers, micrometers, CMMs, optical comparators, air gages, and surface/roundness analyzers—to keep every part on spec. Hit production goals while keeping quality at the center: complete device history records accurately and enter production data into business systems. Perform routine preventive maintenance and keep a clean, organized work area. As you grow (Machinist II and Senior levels), help prove out and improve processes with Engineering, train other machinists, lead 6S efforts, and contribute to continuous improvement projects. What You Bring High school diploma or GED; technical school training is a plus. 2-5+ years of machining experience (or CNC technical school completion), depending on level. Mechanical aptitude, basic computer skills, and comfort reading blueprints and using measuring tools. Ability to understand metric and English units and convert between them. Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work independently on nights while still being a solid team player. Why You'll Like It Here 3rd shift premium: +6% on base pay. Competitive salary and bonus opportunities. Benefits that support you and your family: medical, dental, vision, maternity leave, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, 401(k) with up to 4% match from day one, PTO starting around 18 days per year, 10 paid holidays, employee assistance, education assistance, and wellness-focused programs. A mission-driven culture built on Quality, Integrity, Accountability, Efficiency, Innovation, Aspiration, Dedication, and Collaboration. If you want your nights to matter—both for your career and for the patients who depend on what you make—this 3rd shift role is your next move. Ready to join the team?
