What It Takes to Run With the Pros High school diploma or GED required Minimum 2 years of machining or related manufacturing experience Experience operating manual lathes and mills required 4-jaw chuck experience preferred Strong understanding of machining techniques, tooling, and materials Ability to inspect parts and maintain accurate documentation Experience in process control or valve repair environments is a plus Strong problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills What's Expected Set up and operate manual lathes, mills, and other shop equipment Machine new parts from bar stock, castings, or rough materials according to engineering drawings Perform touch-up machining and repair work while maintaining critical dimensions Conduct dimensional and visual inspections and complete inspection reports Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications Use shop math, including trigonometry, to support machining operations Select appropriate cutting tools, machining speeds, feeds, and coolant applications Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Follow all company safety, quality, and operational procedures The Crew Benefits Good weekly pay that hits like clockwork.
