Are you a skilled CNC Milling Machinist seeking an opportunity to advance your career in aerospace manufacturing? Our client, a leader in precision engineering, is looking for a talented professional to join their dynamic team in Windsor, CT. In this role, you'll be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality components that meet rigorous industry specifications. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision aerospace parts. Read and interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, and industry specifications. Perform quality inspections and verify dimensions using advanced measuring tools. Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and ensure machines run efficiently. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve machining processes. Maintain a clean, organized workspace while following all safety procedures. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification in machining preferred. Proven experience as a CNC machinist with a strong background in milling operations (aerospace experience highly desirable). Proficiency in reading blueprints, understanding GD&T, and operating precision measuring instruments. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing top-quality components. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, precision-driven setting. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Physical Requirements 2nd Shift and 3rd Shift Opportunities Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive machining tasks. Manual dexterity for handling small parts and precision tools. Capability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
