Machinist/Welder 2nd Shift

Job Title:

Machinist/Welder Purpose:

We are seeking an experienced Machinist/Welder to join our automotive industrial team supporting

PROGRESSIVE STAMPING MOLD

production and repair. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Troubleshoot and diagnose molds for fast repairs Repair and maintain progressive stamping molds Perform machine operations using metal lathes, end mills, surface sanding equipment, and flex arm grinders Operate overhead cranes safely and efficiently Work with team members to ensure molds meet production specifications Support production schedules and shipment deadlines in a high-pressure manufacturing environment

Qualifications/Requirements:

Machinist/ Certificate from trade school OR 4 years on the job in Automotive industrial setting Welder/ Certificate from trade school OR 4 years on the job in Automotive industrial setting Show the team an understanding and usage of surface sanding equipment, metal lathes, end mills, and flex arm grinders Must pass welding test with Stick and TIG Experience working on progressive stamping molds and provide proof of employment through references Ability to work 10 hours a day or longer

Environment:

Stressful fast-paced work environment. May be exposed to both hot and cool conditions, with a moderate to high noise level.
