Mail Carrier

Job Overview As a Mail Carrier, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of mail and packages to our customers. This position requires a dedicated individual who is comfortable with route driving and has strong customer service skills. You will be responsible for managing your delivery schedule, handling various types of mail, and maintaining a high level of professionalism while interacting with customers. Duties Deliver mail and packages to designated routes in a timely manner. Operate delivery vehicles, including vans and box trucks, while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling during transport. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups. Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns professionally. Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and operational efficiency. Assist with heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring that packages are delivered safely. Experience Previous experience in commercial driving or route driving is preferred. Familiarity with warehouse operations and courier services is advantageous. Experience operating forklifts or similar equipment is a plus. Strong customer service skills are essential for effective communication with clients. Ability to manage physical demands including moving heavy items and standing for extended periods.
