Job Description

Job Overview:
Main Banker The Main Banker maintains sole custody and responsibility of the Main Vault and Safe. Main Bankers must adhere to all aspects of the Title 31 program. They are responsible for accurately recording daily bank transactions, maintaining accurate records, exchanging chips, deposit preparation, and other duties as assigned. Responsible for performing high volume cash transactions with guests in a courteous, accurate and timely manner; computes all monetary transactions, maintains accurate transaction and auditable balancing practice. Verification of opening and closing shifts, Convey a consistently professional, friendly and courteous manner, with all customers and team members.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Safeguard company assets and adheres to all Cage and Mutuel Department policies and procedures
  • Maintains security and is held accountable for all funds entrusted to him/her on an assigned shift
  • Responsible for processing jackpots
  • Conducts Even Money Exchange transactions
  • Verifies cash turned in from other departments, various types of payouts, cashier banks, and count
  • Prepare bank deposits and record properly on main bank settlement sheets
  • Performs cashier and teller duties as necessary
  • Helps resolve any variances that may occur during their shift
  • Provide an orderly and positive work environment
  • Provides prompt, friendly and courteous service to all guests in a confidential manner
  • Must maintain strict adherence to the department policies and procedures
  • Maintains a strong knowledge of Title 31 requirements
  • Counts poker chips and completes count documentation as required
  • Operates betting machine to process guest bets in an accurate and timely manner
  • Redeem winning tickets for cash
  • Prioritizes Tasks
  • Maintains an organized, clean, and safe environment for associates and guests
  • Performs as a team member and assists other team members to ensure a smooth operation
  • Other duties & responsibilities as assigned
Job Requirements:
(please ensure you meet the listed requirements prior to applying )
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older
  • Must have strong attention to detail
  • Must have 2 years of verifiable cash handling experience (A skills test will be administered)
  • Proficiency with 10 key calculator and experience working with coin and currency counters
  • Must be familiar with operating a PC
  • Strong math skills and cash handling experience are preferred (A skills test and/or audition may be administered)
  • Must be self-motivated
  • Very strong guest service skills
  • Must have a professional demeanor and be able to communicate well with the public
  • Must have and maintain a stable, positive background and adhere to the established Dress Code
  • Must perform job duties in accordance with Cash Handling Procedures, Internal Controls, and Operating Procedures as well as all policies, procedures and gaming regulations.
  • The employee will be required to stand and walk for long periods of time
  • Must be able to lift, carry and walk with up to 40 lbs for up to 120 feet
  • Must be able to work efficiently in crowded and confined areas
  • Willing to participate in training as recommended or required
  • Must maintain a strong working knowledge of Title 31 and State Gaming Regulations
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work
  • Must have a Florida Gaming License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license)
  • Ability and willingness to work odd and irregular hours including night, weekend, and holiday schedules as required
Pay:
$15.00 - $15.05 per hour
