Main Line Automotive Technician

Family First Automotive is growing and needs to add another Main Line Automotive Technician to our team! We offer a true team/family environment where everyone chips in to deliver our brand promise to our customers. Enjoy a brand new facility with all new machines. We are open Monday through Friday 9a-6p with No Weekends and No Overtime; straight pay so you will know what your check will be regardless of fluctuations in seasonal business. Plenty of room for growth and advancement. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on customer vehicles Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues efficiently to minimize downtime Repair or replace faulty components, ensuring all work adheres to safety protocols and quality standards Collaborate with team members to coordinate workflow and to provide assistance where needed Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately in database for parts, reports, compliance, and future reference Follow safety procedures diligently to maintain a safe working environment Skills Strong mechanical aptitude and experience working in a professional automotive shop Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, while working with diagnostic tools Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze issues quickly and implement effective solutions Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams clearly Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and reporting issues accurately Must have 3+ years or more experience in the repair of brakes, suspension, AC, radiators, valve covers, timing covers, engine & transmission replacement, timing chains, dash-pulling, and other various repair jobs Proficient and accurate mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills will move you and your earnings ability to the front of the line Join us as a Main Line Automotive Technician and become part of a dedicated team committed to providing solutions for our customers and opportunities for growth to our team members!
