We focus on improving communication between families and educational and healthcare systems, ensuring children receive the support they deserve. Our mission is to bridge gaps in services and advocate for meaningful, coordinated care. Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Residential Speech Pathology Therapist to join our team! In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to children and adolescents in our Residential Treatment Center. Your expertise will help autistic individuals with disabilities or developmental delays develop essential skills for daily living, foster independence, and improve overall quality of life. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of children working in a dynamic, supportive environment. This role is ideal for clinicians looking for flexible supplemental hours Duties Collaborate with the care team to support treatment goals. Maintain accurate documentation and communicate progress as needed. Ensure a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for each youth served. Provide therapeutic interventions for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), developmental delays, or disabilities to enhance motor skills, sensory processing, and cognitive functions Conduct case management activities to monitor progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and ensure seamless transitions across care settings Experience
  • Hands-on experience in Residential Treatment Center
  • Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and how these relate to occupational therapy interventions
  • Experience working with youth or individuals with developmental or behavioral needs is preferred.
  • Work 1:1 with the patient in a home-based program that provides Speech Therapy individuals who have been diagnosed with autism or other developmental disabilities.
  • Track and record treatment
  • Provide a safe and supportive environment for patients.
  • Must be able to respond quickly to manage behaviors.
Ability to work independently and manage caseload based on chosen availability. This role is ideal for clinicians looking for flexible supplemental hours. Schedule Friday evenings and weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday) Final caseload and hours determined by therapist preference. Therapists may determine whether they take one youth or multiple youth, depending on their availability and comfort level.
