Maintenance

Principal Responsibilities The Mold Maintenance person will be responsible for making sure that each mold used and stored at RTSUS is ready to be used at any given time. The position will be responsible to make sure that all molds are repaired, cleaned, and stored in a proper location. Mold Repair and Maintenance person will assure that all storage areas are labeled with proper mold criteria and mold name. Molds will be pre-staged from storage to production area on a 24 hour basis. Responsible for ensuring that this position works toward meeting the goals and mission of RTSUS while functioning as a teammate with other employees.

Primary Job Functions:

Catalog and maintain all molds Assures that all molds are reviewed as they come off the machines and are in good repair and ready to use Responsible for tagging each mold as it is reviewed and marked ready for use Logging the work/repairs done to each mold. Responsible for returning all molds to scheduled locations after reviewed and repaired Complete proper paperwork for outbound and inbound molds Responsible for working with the Production Scheduler and Production Manager to have mold changes pre-staged in the production area 24 hours prior to schedule change

Secondary Job Functions:

Assist teammates with hanging and changing molds as required. Works with Purchasing Department to assure mold repair equipment needed is on hand Knowledge and Skills Proficient commercial electrical from 110 to 575 Ability to read machine/electrical blueprints/schematics Welding

years of related maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment Basic plumbing skills Knowledge of natural gas plumbing and its use as a product Basic computer skills Education and Specific Training High school diploma or equivalent. Technical training in Industrial Maintenance is preferred. Welding knowledge or certification.
