Job Description
We are currently looking for a talented and reliable Maintenance and Repair Technician to join our maintenance and repair team servicing in the surrounding areas of West Dundee, IL. In this position, you are responsible for performing maintenance and repair activities at assigned locations. This role includes daily tasks to ensure equipment and facilities remain operational. Diagnose, service, and repair various types of gym equipment. Conduct regular preventive maintenance inspections to verify equipment safety and functionality. Perform facility maintenance and minor repairs. Conduct minor building maintenance. Drywall repair, painting, basic plumbing fixes, light electrical work, and other similar duties will be assigned. Repair flooring, including tile replacement and restoration of damaged rubber flooring. Coordinate with property managers and external vendors to address significant building issues. Communicate regularly with the lead repair technician. Effectively manage and communicate the status of outstanding maintenance items. Travel between assigned locations and sometimes outside the normal service area as needed. Qualifications and Requirements 1+ years of experience in general maintenance. Ability to solve problems independently. Communicate professionally and effectively with clients, vendors, property managers, and leadership. Possess basic computer literacy. Valid Driver's License and proof of active car insurance. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. Physical Demands Ability to walk, stand, and sit for prolonged periods of time Bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, twist, reach, grasp, and perform repetitive hand movements on a daily basis. Ability to lift, carry, and push/pull up to 75 lbs. May occasionally be exposed to cleaning chemicals during work shifts Why Join Us?
