Arctic Legacy Aviation, LLC About Us Reeve Air Alaska DBA Arctic Legacy Aviation is a long standing operator in the Alaska aviation industry, committed to delivering exceptional aviation solutions. We operate a fleet consisting of two Beechcraft King Air B100s, a Beechcraft King Air 200, and a Beechcraft King Air 90. As we continue to grow, we are seeking skilled and dedicated Aviation Mechanics to join our team. We are currently hiring Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Mechanics to perform maintenance and repairs on our aircraft fleet. The ideal candidates will have the necessary certifications, experience, and a commitment to excellence in aircraft maintenance. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced aviation environment. The position includes, but is not limited to, the following duties: Conduct routine maintenance tasks and inspections on various aircraft models in our fleet. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and avionic issues to ensure safe and efficient aircraft operations. Adhere to company and regulatory procedures for maintenance, documentation, and safety. Collaborate with team members to prioritize and complete work orders in a timely manner. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Continuously update skills and knowledge through training and professional development opportunities.
Required:
Valid Airframe and Powerplant Certificates (A&P) Has exercised their A&P for 6 months, within the last 24 months, or has a letter from the FAA waiving that requirement. 14 CFR 65.83 Capability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs on a regular basis. Proficiency with standard computer software (email, messenger applications, etc.) Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays Ability to pass a Criminal Background Test for Airport Badging Valid Driver's License High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
Preferred:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Office Prior experience in general aviation maintenance preferred Inspector Authorization (IA) is a plus Experience with 135 maintenance operations is advantageous Familiarity with aircraft currently in our fleet is desirable
Pay:
$45.00 - $60.00 per hour
