full-time Aviocraft is a growing FAA-certified aircraft maintenance and repair organization dedicated to providing high-quality aircraft component maintenance, structural repair, and customer service. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Airframe Component Mechanic to join our team. Position Summary The Airframe Component Mechanic is responsible for the inspection, disassembly, repair, overhaul, assembly, testing, and documentation of aircraft airframe components in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer specifications, and company quality procedures. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, overhaul, and test aircraft airframe components. Read and interpret maintenance manuals, engineering drawings, service bulletins, and technical data. Perform structural repairs on aircraft components using approved methods and materials. Complete all maintenance documentation accurately and in compliance with FAA requirements. Maintain clean and organized work areas while following company safety procedures. Ensure all work is performed in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer specifications, and Aviocraft quality standards. Identify unserviceable parts and recommend corrective actions. Work collaboratively with inspectors, quality personnel, and other technicians to meet production schedules. Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and maintain high workmanship standards. Qualifications Required High school diploma or
GED. FAA
Airframe (A) Certificate preferred; (Not required) Minimum of 2 years of aircraft maintenance or component repair experience (preferred). Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and engineering drawings. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in various shop environments. Must be eligible to work in the United States. Preferred Experience working in an FAA Part 145 Repair Station. Sheet metal and structural repair experience. Familiarity with aircraft component overhaul procedures. Experience using precision measuring instruments and specialized aircraft tooling. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong organizational and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Commitment to quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. Dependable with a strong work ethic.
