Job Description:

  • Sheet Metal Technician (Aircraft Maintenance / MRO)

Mesa, Arizona
Environment:
MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) The Sheet Metal Technician performs structural repairs, modifications, and installations on aircraft during heavy maintenance checks. This role requires experience with C-checks, structural repair, and sheet metal fabrication in an MRO environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform structural sheet metal repairs on aircraft during heavy maintenance checks Remove, repair, and replace aircraft structural components such as skins, panels, and supports Fabricate and install sheet metal parts including brackets, doublers, and reinforcements Read and interpret maintenance manuals, SRMs, blueprints, and engineering drawings Perform drilling, riveting, cutting, and fitting of sheet metal components Ensure all work is completed in compliance with FAA regulations and company standards Inspect completed work to ensure quality and airworthiness Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Communicate effectively with team members and leadership Other duties as assigned Competencies To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: Adaptability
