$32.00 to $48.00 per hour
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced F-16 Engine Technician II to perform maintenance, repair, inspection, troubleshooting and modification of
PW F100-220E
engines.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands on experience with
F100-220E
engines and the ability to work independently in a fast paced aircraft maintenance environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform maintenance, repair, inspection and troubleshooting on
PW F100-220E
engines
Perform line and heavy maintenance activities
Diagnose and troubleshoot engine and system issues
Interpret and follow military technical orders and maintenance documentation
Complete engine work packages and maintenance records accurately
Inspect replacement parts before installation and properly document removed parts
Assist with intermediate and advanced engine repairs
Provide technical guidance and training to other technicians when needed
Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely and according to established procedures
Required Qualifications
Minimum 7 years of direct maintenance experience and training on
PW F100-220E
aircraft
Strong working knowledge of
PW F100-220E
engine components and systems
USAF 5 level or equivalent progressive aircraft maintenance experience highly preferred
Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Ability to read and interpret military or FAA technical documentation
Ability to work independently and meet maintenance deadlines
High school diploma or GED required

5+ years of aircraft engine or aerospace propulsion maintenance experience
Experience with PW F100 or related F100 engine platforms
Military aircraft engine maintenance experience
Ability to interpret USAF Technical Orders
USAF 5-Level, Craftsman, or 2A6X1 Aerospace Propulsion experience preferred
F-16 or F-15 experience highly preferred
Experience with engine removal and installation, borescope inspections, TCTOs, or engine build-up preferred
FAA A&P certification preferred
High school diploma or GED
