This isn't a behind-the-desk role, we want someone who's visible on the floor, invested in their people, and committed to running a tight, professional operation. You'll have full ownership of the department, with direct responsibility for staffing, training, performance, and day-to-day operations. What You'll Do Team Leadership & Scheduling Build and maintain efficient shift schedules that keep operations covered without unnecessary overlap Monitor workload in real time and adjust staffing or priorities as conditions change Ensure the team is always properly resourced during peak periods and critical operations Training & Onboarding Own the onboarding experience for new Line Service Technicians from day one Create, update, and maintain training materials and standard operating procedures in partnership with senior leadership Ensure every team member is properly trained, signed off, and consistently following established procedures Identify knowledge or performance gaps and respond with targeted coaching or retraining Performance & Delegation Delegate responsibilities clearly across Supervisors and Technicians, with real accountability and follow-through Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and development opportunities Address performance issues directly and consistently Reinforce a culture of ownership, professionalism, and teamwork Operational Oversight Hold the team to company standards for safety, cleanliness, equipment care, and customer service Proactively identify and address inefficiencies or risks before they become problems Stay present and engaged on the floor, especially during high-tempo operations What We're Looking For Prior experience in line service, FBO operations, or aviation ground handling — supervisory or management experience preferred Strong scheduling and team coordination skills A coaching mindset: you develop people, not just manage tasks High standards for safety, professionalism, and customer service
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
