Tasksrequire manual dexterity of hands and body to operate equipment and machinery as well as managingfrequent interruptions, time pressures, and high work volumes. Travel to and from job related locations occur during the course of a scheduled workday. Responsibilities require concentration, accuracy, and ethical conduct. Work environment Sitting, standing and walking. Driving a vehicle. Speaking, hearing, seeing, and reading. Climbing up and down ladders and maintenance stands. Crawling and working on the ground while on your back. Reaching and twisting. Distinguishing colors. Bending/Kneeling. Lifting floor to waist one hundred (100) pounds. Lifting waist to shoulder of seventy-five (75) pounds. Lifting shoulder to overhead of fifty (50) pounds. Carrying a weight of fifty (50) pounds for a distance of up to 100 feet. Pushing/pulling a weight of two hundred (200) pounds for a distance of up to 2,000 feet. Use of precise dexterity. Physical environment Equally indoors and outdoors. In temperatures frequently above 90 degrees and rarely below 40 degrees during outdoor activities. In conditions involving aircraft fumes, chemicals, smoke and dust and occasionally wet/damp area. In conditions involving unprotected heights, use of stairs/ladders, high noise levels, both dim and bright lighting. In hazardous environment. Social environment Handling frequent interruptions. Handling multiple or complicated tasks, and frequently changing and unscheduled tasks. Managing high volumes of work. Working under deadlines or time pressures to complete tasks. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of Electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems on fixed wing and rotorcraft. Skill in Trouble shooting and programing software into systems. Performing routine maintenance on fixed wing and rotorcraft and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed. Ability to Return office fixed wing and rotorcraft aircraft to service. Perform maintenance, follow instructions, and interpret drawings and diagrams. Maintain clear recordkeeping and organizational standards within the work environment.
