Job Description:
Position Summary:
Maintenance Technicians are responsible to the Maintenance Supervisor and shall assure that the procedure outlined in this manual as well as all FAA Regulations and manufacturer's instructions are complied with. In addition to all responsibilities listed below, work involves the responsibility of performing routine maintenance, and major inspections on HondaJet, Piper, TBM, Pilatus, LearJets, Beechjet, Citations and other corporate aircraft. Troubleshooting, repair, and modification of aircraft systems and engines is accomplished by this position. In addition, component removal and reinstallation, operational checks, leak checks, and engine runs are all within the responsibility of the AMT. The AMT is responsible for using sound judgment and technical aptitude to make decisions regarding maintenance, sequence, and techniques, troubleshooting and discrepancy resolution.Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Ensure that all repairs are accomplished by approved methods and techniques and in accordance with the specifications set forth by the manufacturer in the service manuals, the Federal Aviation Regulations, service bulletins, and airworthiness directives and other data approved by the FAA administrator. Responsible for planning and coordinating the activities of their shop or area, so as to minimize delays and increase production and efficiency. Ensure that all work accomplished will be completed in strict accordance with the manufacturers maintenance and repair instructions andTITLE 14 CFR
part 43. Exercise all reasonable care to protect all parts- sub assembles; major assembles and completed units against loss or damage.
Job Requirements:
Education:
Five or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate (Preferred).Experience:
Five or more years demonstrated experience in aircraft maintenance inspections and repairs. Strong understanding in 135 and 145 repair station operations/regulations required.Minimum Work Experience Requirement:
Clean driving record. Able to pass a background check. Ability to pass a drug screening test. Willing to work weekends, if needed. Willing to work off location, if needed.
