Job Description

Job Summary

Strategic Support Solutions is actively seeking four (4) Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Maintenance Technicians to join a first-shift crew working a 4x10 schedule (Monday through Thursday).

We are seeking technicians across multiple experience levels—ranging from developing technicians with initial hands-on experience to senior technicians with 3+ years of experience. Ideal candidates will have proven, practical experience maintaining Cessna Citation aircraft and/or Beechcraft King Air platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Perform scheduled maintenance inspections, unscheduled repairs, system diagnostics, and troubleshooting on Citation and King Air aircraft platforms in compliance with FAA regulations, technical manuals, and company standards.

Perform structural inspections, system checks (hydraulic, mechanical, fuel, environmental, and electrical), and component replacements.

Execute accurate maintenance recordkeeping, including logbook entries, work order sign-offs, and compliance documentation.

Work collaboratively within a 4-day first-shift crew to maintain project timelines without compromising quality or safety.

Maintain tool control, shop safety standards, and ground support equipment care.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Licensing:

Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License (Required).

Aircraft Experience:

Demonstrated hands-on maintenance experience on one or both of the following aircraft families:

Cessna Citation Series

Beechcraft King Air Series

Experience Levels:

Open to candidates with entry/slight experience through experienced technicians with 3+ years of aircraft maintenance history.

Tools:

Must possess a personal set of aviation hand tools.

General Skills:

Strong mechanical aptitude, effective troubleshooting capabilities, and clear communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, bend, climb, lift up to 50 lbs, and work safely in a busy hangar environment.

Work Schedule & Compensation

Schedule:

First Shift, Monday - Thursday (Four 10-hour shifts; consistent 3-day weekend).

Background Checks

This position is covered under Federal Aviation Regulations in regard to unescorted access to Security Identification Display Areas. Applicants are subject to employment verification and, possibly, an FBI criminal history records check.
