A&P Mechanic (Business Corporate Experience is a plus)
Job Description:
An aircraft structures mechanic's job description includes inspecting, repairing, and modifying aircraft structures like the fuselage, wings, and flight control surfaces. They perform maintenance, assemble metal and composite components, and work with sealants, insulation, and other materials to ensure the aircraft's structural integrity and safety. Key Responsibilities
Inspecting Aircraft:
Mechanics conduct various levels of checks, such as A checks, which involve general inspections for damage, corrosion, and missing parts.
Troubleshooting and Repairing:
They diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in airframes, engines, and electronic systems.
Component Overhauls:
Specialized facilities have mechanics who disassemble, clean, inspect, reassemble, and test aircraft components, including engines and propellers.
Performing Maintenance:
This includes tasks like lubricating components, checking fluid levels, and servicing landing gear and braking systems.
Documentation:
