Responsibilities V2X is seeking a highly skilled and experienced A&P Mechanic with a strong background in FAA regulated aircraft maintenance. This position requires a minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience, ensuring our fleet remains safe, reliable, and airworthy.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance IAW OEM and FAA regulations. Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and maintain aircraft systems and components in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures. Complete accurate maintenance records and documentation. Maintain clean, organized, and safe work environment. Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory guidelines. Coordinate with flight operations and other departments to minimize aircraft downtime.
Qualifications Qualifications:
Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate. Minimum of 5+ years of direct experience working on aircraft . Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be able to pass drug screening and background check. Valid U.S. Drivers License. This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Level security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Phase Inspections, hot section inspections, and propeller balancing. Previous experience at Part 145 Repair Station. Avionics troubleshooting experience is a plus. King Air and Cessna Caravan experience
