Aircraft Teardown AviationTechJobs Doral, FL Job Details Full-time $34 an hour 23 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Referral program Qualifications Airframe Attention to detail Manufacturing Hand tools Mechanical knowledge Mechanical troubleshooting Full Job Description Perform aircraft teardown and disassembly activities on commercial aircraft. Remove airframe, structural, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, avionics, and interior components in accordance with company procedures. Identify, tag, document, and preserve removed components for inventory and traceability purposes. Utilize aircraft maintenance manuals, illustrated parts catalogs, and other technical documentation. Inspect removed components for damage, serviceability, and proper handling requirements. Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized aircraft maintenance equipment safely and effectively. Maintain an organized and clean work area while adhering to safety standards and company policies. Assist with aircraft movement, storage, and preparation activities as needed. Ensure accurate documentation of work performed. Support inventory, shipping, and warehouse teams when required. Minimum of 1 year of hands-on aircraft maintenance, aircraft teardown, or related aviation experience. Experience working on commercial aircraft preferred. Ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and technical documentation. Familiarity with aircraft systems, structures, and components. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic computer skills for documentation and inventory tracking. Previous aircraft storage, recycling, teardown, or parts reclamation experience preferred. Forklift, tow, or ground support equipment experience is a plus.
Pay:
$34.00 per hour
