AIrframe & Powerplant Aircraft Mechanic Aircraft TurbineWorks, LLC Fort Pierce, FL Job Details Full-time $32 - $38 an hour 5 days ago Benefits Health insurance Paid time off 401(k) matching Qualifications Airframe Customer service Airframe & Powerplant License English Driver's License Hand tools Full Job Description A&P Aircraft Mechanic needed for a busy Aircraft Maintenance shop providing service but not limited to Beechcraft, Cessna, Piper Aircraft. Pay is based on experience. King Air and Citation experience a plus. This individual will provide technical assistance and labor for any and all problems associated with aircraft repairs as well as coordinate with the maintenance department leads and supervisors to ensure a safe and efficient repair and timely return to service of the aircraft. Ensure tasks assigned by Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor are carried out by the team in an efficient manner Communicate with customers as to status of aircraft maintenance Coordinate with parts department to ensure that all materials are in stock or on order to complete the project on time. Provide inspection support as authorized by Chief Inspector Perform inspections, maintenance and troubleshooting of aircraft systems Ensure all customer aircraft are maintained in accordance with the procedures outlined in the applicable Aircraft Maintenance Manual and customers General Maintenance Manual Exercise good judgment in working with people in a team environment as well as in aircraft maintenance and safety Maintain and/or repair shop facility, equipment and tooling to support operations. Job Requirements A&P Certification Must be ready and eager to learn in a fast paced environment and have an exceptional eye for detail. Capacity to problem solve and complete complex tasks. Hand Tools English:
requires strong written, verbal, and reading comprehension skills. Extensive Turbine Experience King Air -Especially Cessna Citation Jets Self-motivated with exceptional work ethic. Hours:
Monday- Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm with Over-Time Opportunities We are a Raisbeck Engineering, BLR Aerospace, Frakes Aviation and Aircraft Performance Modifications, Inc authorized dealer/installation center. We are proud to say we have a very low turnover of employees and a great customer base.
Pay:
$32.00 - $38.00 per hour
