Job Description

Job Summary

Full Time A&P Mechanic to service commercial aircraft at Destin/Ft Walton (VPS). The qualified candidate will perform on-call maintenance for all major Air Carriers. Airline maintenance training required. May be required to periodically assist at Ft Walton/Destin and Panama City locations as needed.

Requirements

Must have working knowledge of aircraft systems, maintenance of aircraft and engine systems, troubleshooting, calibrated tools, ground support equipment.

Must possess a current FAA issued Airframe and Powerplant Certificate.

Minimum of 3 yrs On call/ line maintenance experience for 121 carriers preferred.

Must be able to remain on-call nights and weekends for a period of 1 week.

Must be able to provide consistent response time within 30 minutes.

Possess strong troubleshooting skills.

Work in conjunction with customers' maintenance control, customers maintenance programs, and applicable manufacturers maintenance data to achieve desired results.

Must have basic understanding of 14 CFR part's 43, 91, 121.

Must be able to work in confined spaces.

Must be able to work on ladders/maintenance stands for extended periods.

Must be able to lift 50lbs.
