SECRET | CAC required Summary Provides support of Organizational-level aircraft maintenance support on
MH-60R/S
series aircraft in accordance with the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP), applicable technical data, and federal contract requirements. Senior-level aircraft mechanic supporting contract maintenance on
MH-60R/S
series aircraft at Station SAR Key West. Essential Functions Perform complex aircraft maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, repair, and modification Document maintenance actions in aircraft logs and approved maintenance systems Lead and provide technical guidance to lower-level mechanics Ensure compliance with Tool Control, FOD, safety, and quality programs Duties Perform general aircraft maintenance Scheduled and Unscheduled maintenance Flight Line Operations/Functions Support Equipment (SE) Operations and Inspections Aircraft Movement Corrosion Control & Spot Treatment Troubleshooting Preservation and De-preservation Ordnance Handling Technical Directive Compliance and Modifications Perform and inspect airframe, flight control, hydraulic, pneumatic, and landing gear systems Interpret technical manuals, drawings, and directives Document maintenance actions per NAMP requirements Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications 7+ years avionics aviation maintenance experience 5+ years MH-60R/S or similar aircraft maintenance experience Must be able to work day, swing, mid, or weekend shift as required Engine run qualification preferred Former CDQAR preferred, must be CDQAR within 180 days of start Former Safe for Flight preferred, must be Safe for Flight within 180 days of start Must meet qualification requirements in accordance with Performance Work Statement (PWS) timelines SECRET clearance required Physical Requirements Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation, including lifting up to 50 lbs., standing and walking for extended periods, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in confined or elevated spaces. Requires sufficient manual dexterity and vision to use tools and inspect aircraft systems. Must be able to work in high-noise environments, wear required PPE and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Compensation $52.96/hour + $17.00
