Helicopter A&P Mechanic Job Description Shift and Pay:
7:00 am - 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday $25-45 depending on experience Position Summary The Helicopter Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of rotary-wing aircraft to ensure they meet FAA regulations and company safety standards. This role supports safe, efficient flight operations through high-quality mechanical work and thorough documentation.

Hanger in Milton, FL Some travel required Key Responsibilities Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on helicopter airframes and powerplants Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and avionics systems Conduct pre-flight, post-flight, and phase inspections Diagnose mechanical issues and determine appropriate corrective actions Remove, repair, replace, and reinstall aircraft components as required Ensure all maintenance activities comply with FAA regulations, manufacturer specifications, and company procedures Maintain accurate and complete maintenance records, logbooks, and work orders Perform functional tests and ground runs to verify system performance Assist with major repairs, inspections, and overhauls Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Coordinate with pilots, maintenance control, and other team members to ensure aircraft readiness Required Qualifications FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred) 2+ years of helicopter maintenance experience (or relevant military experience) Strong knowledge of turbine and/or piston helicopter systems Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics Basic computer skills for maintenance tracking systems Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Milton, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $93000.00/yr. 401K Match PTO and Benefits- 2 weeks and PPO plans Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Milton,FL.
