Opa-locka, FL Job Details Full-time $40,000 - $65,000 a year 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance 401(k) matching Qualifications Vendor relationship building Airframe & Powerplant License Fleet management Digitization Attention to detail Maintenance management FAR Part 135 regulation Technical Proficiency Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Maintenance Coordinator & Planner to serve as the primary force multiplier for our Director of Maintenance. In this role, you will bridge the gap between flight operations and maintenance, ensuring our fleet of 5 aircraft remains airworthy, compliant, and ready for mission requirements. You will manage the flow of maintenance data, coordinate with external Part 145 repair stations, and act as the point of contact for AOG (Aircraft on Ground) recovery. This is a "hub" position that requires technical knowledge, logistical prowess, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced Part 135 environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Maintenance Planning :
Proactively plan and schedule all 135-required inspections (Phase, Doc, etc.) using CAMP and Veryon to minimize fleet downtime.
DOM Support :
Act as the primary assistant to the DOM, handling administrative tracking, vendor vetting, and maintenance release coordination.
AOG Management :
Lead the response for unscheduled maintenance events (AOGs), sourcing parts, and coordinating mobile repair teams (MRTs) to return aircraft to service.
Operational Liaison :
Coordinate daily with the Flight Department via Schedaero to ensure maintenance schedules align with the flight calendar.
Vendor Management :
Manage relationships with internal technicians and external maintenance providers, ensuring work is performed on time and within quote.
Records Integrity :
Ensure all logbook entries and maintenance records are accurately digitized and tracked within Veryon/CAMP for 135 compliance.
Inventory & Logistics :
Oversee the procurement of critical components and "fly-away kits" to ensure high-use parts are always on hand.
Qualifications & Experience Experience :
3+ years in Part 135 maintenance coordination, planning, or maintenance control.
Software Proficiency :
Direct experience with CAMP, Veryon (Flightdocs), and Schedaero is highly preferred.
Technical Knowledge :
Deep understanding of Part 135 regulatory requirements and aircraft logbook compliance.
License :
An A&P License is highly desirable but not required for a candidate with significant planning experience. The "Florida Factor": Ability to manage high-intensity schedules and remote recovery operations across the state and Caribbean.
Communication :
Exceptional "concierge-level" communication skills for dealing with vendors, pilots, and ownership.
Pay:
$40,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
