Job Description

Looking for a skilled Air Frame & Power Plant (A&P) Technician to join DMR's Production Team in Panama City Beach, Florida. Technicians support the sustainment and readiness of military equipment and custom metal components for the Naval Surface Warfare Center - Panama City (NSWC PCD). A&P Technicians are responsible for the on-base inspection, repair, and maintenance of Airborne Mine Counter Measures (AMCM) MK-105 Magnetic Minesweeping Gear. Candidates are required to have both the experience and training in aluminum fabrication, mechanical repairs, deterioration assessment, and documentation of deficiencies. Technicians also support engineering team with redlines that accurately reflect the technical data package changes, bill of materials and drawing updates. Prefer candidates who with a military past performance and minimum of 3-5 years experience in the maintenance, repair of sheet metal and mechanical subsystems
Required Qualifications:
Must be U.S. Citizen H.S. graduation and Industrial Design or Technical School preferred Air Frame and/or Power Plant Certification Must have 3-5 years' experience as an airframe mechanic or technician. Active or documented security clearance preferred. Eligible to complete background check.
Basic Qualifications:
Experienced aircraft sheet metal assembly and power train repairs (riveted structure and installation of functional and/or electrical sub-assembly components) training certificate and/or license. Specific US Navy, DOD, or contractor technical skills preferred with ability to read drawings and interpret maintenance procedures and specifications. Production, fabrication, refurbishment of sheet metal products and equipment using specialized tooling, manual machining, and structural repairs. Must follow maintenance procedures, QA guidelines, and safety requirements. Team player with good communication and problem solving skills. Must be able to lift, carry, and pull up to 50 lbs. in loading equipment or supplies.
