Support the application of paint and coatings using conventional spray guns, airless paint spraying, and powder coating techniques under supervision. Handle materials safely, including materials handling and the use of hand tools and power tools for assembly and finishing processes. Interpret production documents such as work orders, technical drawings, and quality standards to ensure precise application of coatings. Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as respirators and safety gear. Conduct visual color comparisons and inspect finished surfaces for quality assurance, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Skills Basic knowledge of industrial painting techniques such as conventional spraying, airless paint spraying, powder coating, and coating application. Experience in prep work and willingness to learn required; paint experience highly preferred. Familiarity with manufacturing processes, materials handling, fabrication, and assembly procedures. Proficiency in the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators and respiratory protection devices. Ability to interpret technical drawings, production documents, and quality standards accurately. Mechanical knowledge related to machining, hand tools, power tools, and coating spray guns for precise surface finishing. Understanding of safety protocol adherence in an industrial environment to maintain a secure workspace. Skills in using precision measuring instruments for quality control inspections. Experience or familiarity with lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow efficiency.
