Job Description

STS Technical Services is seeking experienced A&P Mechanics to support turbine aircraft maintenance operations in Stuart, Florida. This role is built for technicians who can troubleshoot complex issues, execute maintenance with precision, and operate independently in a regulated Part 135 environment. If you have a strong background in corporate aviation and know how to move from diagnosis to resolution without hesitation, this is your lane. Job Responsibilities Perform advanced troubleshooting, inspections, repairs, and alterations on turbine aircraft Execute scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures Diagnose complex mechanical and avionics discrepancies with minimal supervision Complete all maintenance tasks accurately and document work in maintenance tracking systems Conduct engine runs, taxi checks, and operational tests as required Regulatory Compliance & Safety Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, Part 135 requirements, and company manuals Review and sign off on maintenance work within certification privileges Maintain audit-ready documentation and proper logbook entries Identify and escalate safety concerns or compliance risks to Maintenance leadership Qualifications FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License required Minimum of 3 to 7+ years of aircraft maintenance experience Strong experience with corporate aviation and turbine aircraft Working knowledge of Part 135 operations and regulatory requirements Proven ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues independently Valid driver's license Preferred Experience Experience working on Hawker and or Citation aircraft About STS Technical Services STS Technical Services is a Top 100 Staffing Firm that partners with leading organizations across aerospace, manufacturing, defense, and industrial sectors.
