We are currently hiring a Line Service Technician to support the smooth operation of our hangar facilities and aircraft parts department. This role involves maintaining a clean and organized work environment, managing parts inventory, assisting with deliveries, and ensuring that all facilities meet safety and cleanliness standards. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to perform routine maintenance tasks while maintaining a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Location :
Tampa, Florida (KTPA)
Schedule :
Full-time, averaging about 32-40 hours per week, weekends are required. (2300-0700)
Key Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional customer service to aircraft owners and operators Perform aircraft fueling operations Assist with aircraft parking and towing Conduct routine inspections of fueling equipment and report any issues or malfunctions Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures Maintain a clean and organized work environment grounds and FBO Perform janitorial services as required Hangar and aircraft stocking as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED equivalency certificate. Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record; ability to drive to other locations as needed. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and comply with random drug and alcohol testing in accordance with company and safety regulations. Ability to lift, carry, and move items up to 50 pounds without assistance. Comfortable using safety equipment such as a safety belt when required. Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to work in an organized, safety-conscious manner. Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and perform general physical tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in aviation or related field preferred Familiarity with aircraft fueling procedures and equipment Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately Excellent communication and interpersonal skills HS Diploma, GED and some college credits preferred. Experience may be allowed to substitute the post-secondary requirement.
