Position Summary:
This Aircraft Avionics Technician will report to the Accountable Manager. The aircraft avionics technician will be responsible for completing aircraft electrical and avionics work. etc. This position requires the technician to display a professional demeanor and strong communication skills. Must possess adequate knowledge of Corporate Aircraft and be familiar with the Bombardier Challenger Line of Aircraft. Should be familiar with avionics systems. Key Responsibilities (Essential Functions): Perform arrival and departure inspections on corporate aviation aircraft. Perform avionic maintenance on a variety of aircraft configurations. Perform a wide range of maintenance duties to include inspections, repair, and servicing of aircraft avionics and electrical systems. Perform maintenance IAW with FAA approved technical data and Slate Aerotech RSM guidelines. Read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, electric schematics and drawings to determine feasibility and methods of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components/parts. Maintenance shop cleanup, organization, and basic office duties. Accurately complete all appropriate maintenance, work order, and RTS paperwork. Review and ensure all required entries into the aircraft electronic computer systems IAW RSM requirements. Any additional task directed by the Accountable Manager, Maintenance Manager/Supervisor Requirements Must have a high school diploma or GED. A&P certification preferred. Must have at least (3) years of aircraft maintenance/avionics experience.

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to read electric drawings and schematics Excellent time management skills with an ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks. Must be flexible and read for changes in schedules and plans. Ability to adhere to strict time schedules, attendance policies, and appearance standards are non-negotiable. Must be 21 years of age. Must have a current, valid driver's license. Must have a current passport. Must have own tools.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting and standing Ability to be willing to work on elevated platforms (up to 40 feet in the air) using fall protection safety gear when required.
