Aviation Cargo Repair Technician

Job Title:

Repair Technician Job Description As a Repair Technician, you will perform assembly testing, troubleshooting, and repair of FAA-approved temperature-controlled containers. Responsibilities Perform assembly testing, troubleshooting, and repair of temperature-controlled containers. Manage warehouse and facilitate material movement. Patch holes and perform deriveting and riveting on cargo containers. Deliver containers clean and free from defects. Respond to technical assistance requests from customers. Qualifications Experience with hand and power tools Prior Aviation Maintenance or Avionics Repair Experience is preferred Electrical troubleshooting knowledge 1-2+ years of relevant experience Work Environment The first shift runs from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. The facility is clean, though it is not temperature-controlled, it stays comfortable throughout the year. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Des Plaines, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
