Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated A&P (Airframe and Powerplant) Mechanic to join our dynamic aviation maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining aircraft and related equipment to ensure safety, compliance, and optimal performance. Your expertise will help keep our fleet operating smoothly and safely, supporting our commitment to excellence in aviation services. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced aircraft systems, utilize precise measurement tools, and contribute to the safety of air travel. Duties Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and overhauls on aircraft airframes, engines, and systems in accordance with FAA regulations and company standards. Use schematics, CAD drawings, and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately and develop effective repair strategies. Conduct root cause analysis to identify underlying problems affecting aircraft performance or safety. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, ammeters, ohmmeters, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to ensure components meet strict specifications. Fabricate or modify sheet metal parts using welding, soldering, power tools, hand tools, and fabrication techniques as needed. Maintain detailed maintenance records using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track repairs, inspections, and compliance activities. Adhere strictly to Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), AS9100 quality standards for aerospace manufacturing and maintenance practices. Assist with aircraft assembly or disassembly processes during scheduled maintenance or upgrades. Perform equipment repair on various aviation components including avionics systems, electrical wiring harnesses, and power distribution units. Support heavy lifting operations with appropriate equipment while following safety protocols to prevent injury or damage. Experience Proven mechanic experience in aviation maintenance or aerospace manufacturing environments. Strong mechanical knowledge of aircraft airframes, engines, electrical systems, and avionics components. Familiarity with schematics, CAD software such as CATIA or AutoCAD for technical drawings and modifications. Experience working with military-grade equipment or within regulated environments like AS9100 standards is a plus. Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), especially those related to aircraft maintenance and safety compliance. Hands-on experience with precision measurement instruments including micrometers, calipers, ammeters, ohmmeters, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM). Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics accurately for troubleshooting and repairs. Competence in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and sheet metal fabrication techniques. Electrical experience related to wiring harnesses or avionics systems is highly desirable.
