This role is responsible for performing inspections, troubleshooting discrepancies, and completing maintenance and repairs in accordance with FAA regulations and company standards. A&P mechanics play a critical role in ensuring aircraft remain airworthy by inspecting, repairing, and maintaining aircraft systems and components to strict safety requirements. Key Responsibilities Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance , including inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on aircraft systems Conduct routine inspections in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures Diagnose mechanical discrepancies and complete corrective actions Remove, repair, replace, and test aircraft components including electrical systems and perform operational checks. Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, manufacturer maintenance manuals, and company policies Complete accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and documentation Coordinate with pilots and operations team regarding aircraft status and discrepancies Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Support AOG (Aircraft on Ground) response and occasional off-site maintenance as required
Qualifications Required:
FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate High school diploma or equivalent Ability to read, write, and understand technical documentation Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Preferred:
2+ years of aircraft maintenance experience (Part 135 or 145 environment preferred) Experience with turbine aircraft and business jets Inspection Authorization (IA) or willingness to obtain Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Understanding of aircraft systems (airframe, powerplant, electrical, hydraulic, avionics) Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Ability to diagnose issues and perform efficient repairs Time management and organizational skills Work Environment & Schedule Hangar and ramp environment with exposure to varying weather conditions Ability to work nights, weekends, or on-call shifts as needed Occasional travel may be required Compensation & Benefits Hourly pay (starts at): $25-$45/hr. depending on experience Overtime opportunities Health, dental, vision, and life insurance Paid time off and holidays Retirement plan with company contribution Career growth and advancement opportunities
